Bruce Habowski, Jr.

This work is one of a series of paintings that resulted from my walks around where I live. Although this is an actual place, it really represents all the backyards of America; sanctuaries of rest and relaxation that are a safe haven from the frenzied world that lies just outside our ‘boundaries.’  In 2002, Bruce was juried into the Hilton Head (S.C.) League National Show and “Painting II”, and international exhibit in Omaha, Nebraska.  His work can be seen at the McGrath-Dunham Gallery, Castine, Maine.
